  1. Hello,

the Backup-File generated by your plug-in has 600 ftp permissions, so the plug-in can't continue working on it. The directory itself has got the right permissions (777).

    Any Idea?

  2. this issue might be due to your webservers' setup. The user your webserver is running with seems not allowed to create writable files. Have you experiences similar issues with other functionality reading+writing files with the webserver's permissions? How about WorsdPress handling your .htaccess file? Are you running WP-Cache?

  3. Hey rol,

i have never experienced similar problems. Wordpress handles the .htaccess file very well and i'm not running Wp-Cache.

Also the wordpress-uploads are working fine. Any idea about the difference to backupwordpress?

  5. Hey rol,

i ran a manual update and the following erros occured:

Warning: copy(wp-content/backup/2007-09-25-13-45-42/wordpress_files/[...]014.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Disk quota exceeded in wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/bkpwp-classes/manage_backups.php on line 558

  6. Christian, i've edited your post, since the error is simply repeated. Please try to post as clear and understandable as possible.

The first error you receive holds all the information that is crucial for you: Disk Quota exceeded. That means you ran out of disk space on your webserver (web-space).
Solution: Gain more webspace for your WordPress website.

  7. Hey Rol, sorry for double-posting the error, i wasn't quite sure if it was.

After having read the error the first time i checked my disk quota, i have more than 100 mb of space free.

    What does this mean?

  8. Christian, check first with your web hoster. My webhoster's quota indicator is aleways wrong, and I run into a similar problem myself twice. Usually if you get a "disk quota exceeded" php error, php is right about it.
