[closed] What is proper Upgrade procedure?

    Do you recommend deleting the entire Backupwordpress folder from the server, or just uploading "on top" of it?

    I recommend: disable the cron tasks, disable the plugin, uninstall the plugin, reinstall the new version, activate schedules again. You can leave your backup archives within you backup repository.
