Error 500 on Dashboard Page

  1. Sorry if this is a total noob question. I followed the installation instructions for new users exactly (copy files to a bot-tracker folder below wp-content\plugins and activate). I've never done anything with crawltracker before, so it surprised me that I didn't have to do something there as part of installation. When I click on the Bot-Tracker tab on the dashboard, the following error is displayed on that page:

    The website cannot display the page
    HTTP 500
    Most likely causes:
    The website is under maintenance.
    The website has a programming error.

    I'm running WordPress 2.3 on IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003. Are there more steps I need to take to get this to work?

  2. David, usually there is nothing else to do. Crawltrack needs database access, which is provided through WordPress. First Click on the BotTracker Dashboard menu should install the required tables.
    Probably it is you MySql version conflicting with CrawlTrack?
    Please post some phpinfo()
