  1. I get this when i press the "calculate disk space"

    Calculating used disk space

WordPress database error: [Access denied for user 'username'@'localhost' to database 'wp']
    SHOW TABLE STATUS FROM username

Your Database holds. 0.00 B of Data.
Your Wordpress files in this backup use 42.71 MB of disk space.
Your Backup Archive filesize saved with preset full backup will be about 22.48 MB.

Strange, since when i actually do tha backup, i get the sqldump in my tar.

Is it a bug or misconfiguration?

    I'm running wp 2.3 and backupWordPress 0.3.1

  2. shalafi, since none of the BackUpWordPress users ever ran into that problem, I suppose it is a misconfiguration issue. The Plugin tries to connect to the database with an unauthorized user, which is very strange. Please post more info as soon as you find out more.

  3. Hi

I run six blogs on my server, all of them shows the same problem. I hav eset it up so that all blogs have their own DB users, and it's the correct user wich is shown in the error message.

The privileges for the users is set to:
SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, INDEX, ALTER, CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES

That should be enough. Any special info you think would be good to get besides this? It's really strange since everything works great for the blogs, I've had other plugins that creates/read from the database w/o problem...

    regards

  4. Jörgen, there is a new version of BackUpWordPress out since this morning; Maybe you would want to deactivate, remove and reinstall BackUpWordPress to see if you problems persist?
