[closed] Backup contains duplicate files

    Hello,
    Great backup plugin you wrote. I am having an issue though. When I do a full backup, the archive is really large. I opened it, and it contains many duplicates of the same files. There are from 2 to 6 identical copies of each file. When I uncompress it, all the duplicates get removed so it becomes a reasonable size.

    Is there a compression setting I can do to stop it from making these duplicates? I am using the tar.gz compression format and Wordpress 2.3.1. Thanks.

    jono, as bentimberlinedealershipscom pointed out here: http://wpforum.designpraxis.at/topic/i-have-duplicated-files-in-the-backup-12-each?replies=8#post-419 there is a bug in the PEAR package FILE ARCHIVE. You can try to patch your version. Would you please post the diff if you were successful? THx!
