Shack, thanks a lot. It's true, admin has to log in at least once to get BotTracker fully installed...

I think I saw where someone else had a problem like this, so I thought I'd post about it.

When I first went to the Bot Tracker dashboard, it gave me a Restricted Access notice and asked me to login (userid, password). I tried a couple of times and it kept giving me this.

I typically do not use the "admin" account to login to Wordpress. I've created a personal admin account for that purpose called "Shack Dougall". But in the past, I have seen a couple of times where "Shack Dougall" didn't work for things, even though it is an administrator account with all roles and capabilities.

So, on a hunch, I logged out and re-logged with "admin", and it worked! It asked me to change the permissions on the crawltrack directory to 777 and then I was in. (I had already changed the permissions on the cache dir to 777).

Interestingly, once it was fully installed, I was able to re-log as Shack Dougall and now it seems to be happy.

Just thought I'd pass that along in case it might be helpful for someone else.
